Lung Disease Data: 2008
This report contains important facts and figures about some of the most common lung diseases in the United States today. The American Lung Association strongly believes that if cigarette smoking, preventable premature childbirth, disregard for workers’ safety and violation of clean-air laws were to end today, we could expect a future largely free of the most lethal forms of lung disease.

State of the Air 2008
This report ranks U.S. cities and counties with the dirtiest air, and provides county-by-county report cards on the two most pervasive air pollutants: particle pollution (soot) and ozone (smog).

Big Tobacco's Guinea Pigs
This report describes how tobacco manufacturers take advantage of the lack of government regulation to design and market products that recruit new youth users, create and sustain addiction to nicotine, and discourage current users from quitting.

Developed by the Clean Air Task Force and issued in February 2005, this report chronicles the dangers and impact of diesel fuel emissions.

Healthy Air Action Plan for Westchester County
The Healthy Air Task Force was appointed in August of 2004 to improve Westchester’s air quality. This report, issued in January 2005, provides the recommendations for improving air quality in Westchester County by changing current County practices, enacting legislation, providing education to the business and residential community and by being a role model and resource for other municipalities and school districts within Westchester.
